Our Journey

Sorare was founded by Nicolas Julia and Adrien Montfort in 2018 in Paris to bring sports fans across the globe closer to the players, teams, and leagues they love.

Sorare is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic Growth team, which is pivotal in driving customer growth and enhancing our referral program. If you’re eager to contribute to a thriving startup and work on innovative growth strategies, this role is for you.

You'll collaborate closely with a cross-functional team including Marketing, where you’ll engage directly with affiliate programs, paid advertisement campaigns, tracking systems, and the optimization of various landing pages and SEO strategies. Your involvement will be crucial in shaping and refining these initiatives to maximize our outreach and engagement.

In this role, you will have significant input into the direction of our growth-related projects. You’ll participate in weekly meetings to discuss and set the roadmap and priorities, bringing your technical expertise to the forefront to develop scalable and efficient full-stack solutions that support our ambitious growth objectives.

Additionally, you will be deeply involved in setting up and conducting weekly experimentations to test new growth tactics and measure their effectiveness. This iterative process is essential for continuously refining our strategies and ensuring that we are always at the cutting edge of user acquisition and engagement. Your analytical skills and ability to adapt quickly will be key as you help design, implement, and analyze these experiments, contributing directly to the optimization of our growth efforts.

No prior experience with sports, games, or crypto is necessary. Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product, design, and marketing to develop and refine growth-driven features.

• Lead projects from specifications through to completion across both backend and frontend.

• Enhance user interfaces for growth initiatives, ensuring optimal usability, performance, and maintainability.

Requirements

• Require 4+ years of experience in software engineering, with expertise in TypeScript/React.

• Proven experience collaborating with marketing teams to deliver effective technical solutions.

• Experience with Ruby on Rails is a plus.

• Open to learning new technologies and methodologies to enhance growth strategies.

• Detail-oriented, ensuring top quality from backend logic to frontend user interfaces.

• Thrive in a dynamic team environment, tackling complex problems in user acquisition and engagement.

• Participate in weekly experimentations to optimize growth tactics and measure their impact.

• Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English
